Balinese Umbrella | Classic Natural
Our signature umbrellas are inspired by the traditional ones used to adorn Balinese temples on all the special holidays. Updated with fresh new materials and featuring zen zen eco-prints, they are unique and beautiful in so many settings.
Our umbrellas are made of natural cotton that has not been treated for waterproofing or UV. If you want to use them for extended outdoors (not just put out for special event and store again) you will need to treat it with an outdoor fabric spray.

This patio-sized umbrella is made with natural cotton and is adorned with traditional tassels, golden hearts, and brass bells. It fits in a standard umbrella stand available at most patio furniture stores.

Assembly:
- Unwrap the top and bottom pieces and remove protective plastic from between fabric and bamboo spines. Remove nuts and bolts from bottom half.
-Put bottom and top half of poles together. Align holes and put bolts back in (sometimes one side of the hole is easier than the other) then place and tighten nuts.
Opening:
- Easiest with a friend on hand. Turn the umbrella upside down, placing the very top on the ground, and push down firmly on the wooden ring (called a runner) until a hole is visible. Insert the peg in the hole, then turn the whole thing over and put it in the stand.
**If the umbrella turns inside out, don't worry! The bamboo ribs are tough and flexible. Just push or pull gently and evenly to turn it right side out again.
