This stunning jewelry collection is designed by metal artist Hunter Russel Hiscock (HRH). The pieces are hand made in the famous Balinese silversmith village of Celuk, in a traditional family workshop.
Named after the unit of length to measure astronomical distances, this bracelet is inspired by the split-gate entrances of religious compounds in Bali and Java, "candi bentar" which mark the entrances of the temples, drawing a line between the holy grounds and our earthly plain. They are symbolic of when Lord Shiva split Mt.Meru into two halves, which now exist as Gunung Batur and Gunung Agung, Bali's two primary volcanos.
